After Crying is a band that is very difficult to describe but musically is one of the more elevated ones of this decade. Their compositions go to extremes in a very own style that they have been defining since their first album in 1991. From sublime passages and majestic orchestrations (cello, violin, metals) to torturous dissonances of guitar and even at moments rather gloomy. Their influences are hungarian folk mixed with old-fashioned music, that is identified with the precision, technique and virtuosity of formal music and the improvisation of jazz but with today's touch.
