1998 BAJAPROG II was a major leap from 1 day to 4 days!!! The format was the saving grace. First the band TEN JINN warmed up the early crowd at a private night club "La Lisco" located in a House. Don't let that fool you. It was as nice and bizarre as it gets, with a real plane hanging from the ceiling! The whole purpose was to get the bands in and get everyone pumped up for the main event. The following evening the show was transported to the Hotel where the first show was to take place. The seating was tight and the venue was like being at a seminar. You soon forgot all about it when the lights went down. CRUZ DE HIERRO up first, young, wild and METAL. Next ILUVATAR charmed the crowd with their music and personalities.

Once again the show was transported, this time to the "State Theater" a little ways from the Hotel. The next two nights were setup the same, 3 bands per night. This was the first time the BajaProg filled this theater, it is now the HOME of BAJAPROG. The next 2 nights CAST, PUPPET SHOW, XII ALPHONSO, MINIMUM VITAL, SALEM and EQUINOX played their hearts out, only to set the trend for future shows.
